打造交通任意門！水湳轉運中心啟用 七轉七接串聯轉乘路網

1：水湳轉運中心位處水湳經貿園區核心，緊鄰科湳愛琴橋，具備串聯台中國際會展中心、台中綠美圖及未來台中流行影音中心等重大建設的地理優勢。

自2022年9月豐原轉運中心率先啟用營運，2026年台中市轉運路網又迎來新的里程碑。水湳轉運中心已於2026年8月5日正式亮相，而位於台鐵台中車站西北側的台中轉運中心也將於2026年底登場，再加上未來規劃的烏日轉運中心，將完整四大轉運中心的最後一塊拼圖。

水湳轉運中心 七轉七接打開台中移動新動線

位於水湳經貿園區核心的水湳轉運中心，以候鳥與北極星為靈感，打造展翅飛行的建築，呼應了「出發、移動、抵達」的交通功能。由於鄰近國道1號及台74線快速道路，具備串聯中台灣交通網絡的優勢，透過整合多元交通工具於同一節點，讓民眾少繞路、輕鬆轉乘，提升整體交通便利性。

目前，水湳轉運中心已有9條市區公車率先進駐，其中包含前往台中車站、逢甲、東海商圈等地的路線，以及可銜接台中國際機場、高鐵台中站的快速公車。長途客運將陸續進駐本轉運中心，現已優先吸納中清路廊9條路線，並整合計程車、自用汽車、機車、YouBike及捷運等7種運具，形成「七轉七接」的轉乘網絡。

此外，為了因應城市未來發展，水湳轉運中心3、4樓已預留銜接國道系統的平台，地下空間也預留捷運銜接介面，當新的交通建設逐步到位，就能在既有架構上繼續接軌。同時，也將節能減碳納入整體規劃，導入大型車輛廢氣排放處理設備，並於屋頂設置太陽能發電設施，讓便利與永續不必二選一，而是在同一棟建築裡同時發生。工程品質、施工管理及空間設計的卓越成果，也讓水湳轉運中心一舉奪得2026國家卓越建設獎「最佳施工品質金質獎」，彰顯台中交通建設品質深獲各界肯定。

結合會展、休閒、觀光功能 打造交通新場域

無論到此轉乘大眾運輸；或搭乘市區公車再接續長途客運，透過水湳轉運中心，讓不同運具在此無縫銜接、彼此串聯。 當交通不再各自分散，而是化為一個個緊密相連的節點，匯聚不同方向的人流，也將帶動人潮、車流與消費需求，為區域發展注入嶄新動能。

尤其周邊已有台中國際會展中心、台中綠美圖，未來還有台中流行影音中心等重大建設，水湳轉運中心不僅是一座交通建設，更將結合會展、休閒、觀光功能，以整合停車、轉乘及商業服務的複合模式營運。

為迎接水湳轉運中心啟用，台中市政府交通局特別攜手全球知名漫畫品牌《Peanuts》（花生漫畫），於8月1日至8月23日推出限定活動，以6座大型氣球裝置藝術、主題打卡牆等營造童趣與溫馨的交通環境，提升場域辨識度。在開幕期間更有Snoopy快閃商店及室內市集，吸引不少民眾熱情朝聖，收藏台中市首發設計的交通主題玩偶，感受水湳轉運中心的全新魅力。

未來，交通局也將持續導入餐飲、消費及休閒等多元服務，提升轉運中心使用效益，讓人潮停留、業者進駐。

下一站 台中轉運中心接棒

緊接著下一站預計由2026年11月初啟用的台中轉運中心接棒。位於台中車站西北側的台中轉運中心，建築外觀以「山谷意象」為設計概念，透過流線型屋頂與立體植栽，打造宛如綠意向上延伸的都市地景，兼具環保與景觀特色，讓百年歷史的台中車站周邊，多了現代與自然融合的新風貌。

此外，台中轉運中心更強化交通轉乘效率，再把鐵路納入轉乘網絡，未來將整合鐵路、國道客運、市區公車、捷運、自用汽車、機車、計程車及自行車等多元運具，打造無縫轉乘的便捷體驗。

隨著豐原、水湳、台中轉運中心逐步到位，以及未來規劃的烏日轉運中心，台中交通網絡也更加完整，進一步串聯山、海、屯、城各區。各轉運中心依所在區域特色與需求發揮功能，不僅讓市民轉乘更便利，也透過公共運輸路網串起觀光、休憩與生活場域，形塑更完整的城市生活圈。

Since Feng Yuan Transfer Center opened in September 2022 as the first of Taichung,s four major transit centers, the network has continued to take shape. Shuinan Transit Center opened on August 5, 2026, while Taichung Transit Center, northwest of TRA Taichung Station, is set to follow by year-end. The planned Wuri Transit Center will complete the four-center network.

Seven Modes, Seamless Connections

At the heart of Shuinan Trade and Economic Park, Shuinan Transit Center takes inspiration from migratory birds and the North Star, with a wing-like design reflecting its functions of departure, travel, and arrival. Near National Freeway No. 1 and Provincial Highway 74, the center is well placed to connect central Taiwan,s transport network. Nine city bus routes already serve the center, with long-distance coaches to follow. Nine routes along the Zhongqing Road Corridor have also been prioritized for integration. Together with taxis, private cars, motorcycles, YouBike, and a future MRT connection, the center will integrate seven modes of transport for easier transfers.

To support future expansion, the center has reserved platforms on its third and fourth floors for connections to the freeway network, while underground space is set aside for a future MRT link. The center also features large-vehicle exhaust treatment systems and rooftop solar power facilities to reduce energy use and emissions. Its construction quality, project management, and spatial design earned the Gold Award for Best Construction Quality at the 2026 FIABCI-Taiwan Real Estate Excellence Awards, recognizing the quality of Taichung,s transport infrastructure.

Beyond Transit: 
A Hub for Exhibitions, Leisure, and Tourism

By connecting multiple transport modes, Shuinan Transit Center is expected to draw more people and traffic to the area, boost consumer demand, and support regional development. Nearby are the Taichung International Convention and Exhibition Center (TICEC) and Taichung Green Museumbrary, with the Taichung Cinema and Pop Culture Center also planned. Beyond transport, the center will support exhibitions, leisure, and tourism, operating as a mixed-use hub that combines parking, transfers, and commercial services.

To celebrate the opening of the center, the Transportation Bureau partnered with Peanuts for a limited-time event from August 1 to 23. Six large inflatable installations and themed photo walls created a playful atmosphere, while a Snoopy pop-up shop and indoor market drew visitors during the opening period. Fans could also collect Taichung-designed transport-themed toys. Looking ahead, the bureau plans to add more dining, retail, and leisure services, encouraging visitors to stay longer and attracting more businesses to the center.

Next Stop: 

Taichung Transit Center

Next in line is Taichung Transit Center, which is expected to open in early November 2026. Located northwest of Taichung Station, the center features a valley-inspired design, with a sweeping roofline and layered greenery creating an urban landscape that blends century-old architecture with nature. The center will also bring rail into the transfer network, connecting intercity coaches, city buses, the MRT, private cars, motorcycles, taxis, and bicycles for smoother transfers.

As Feng Yuan Transfer Center, Shuinan Transit Center, and Taichung Transit Center come into service, with Wuri Transit Center planned for the future, Taichung,s transport network is becoming more integrated. The expanded network will make transfers easier while linking tourism, recreation, and everyday destinations into a more connected urban living network.
