全台首座同時獲得鑽石級綠建築認證、智慧建築標章認證的會展場館「台中國際會展中心（TICEC）」，今年10/21將啟動試營運、力拚2026年3月營運。這座國家級場館不但是中台灣最大展館，更匯聚中部地區各大產業量能。TICEC由台中市負責興建，貿協負責營運。台中市長盧秀燕在周五（10/17）表示，中市府三大經濟政策是「前店、後廠、自由港」，這座展館的啟用，對於台灣產業面臨美國關稅衝擊、全世界經濟重組的當下彆具意義，也同時為中部產業注入強心針。貿協董事長黃志芳表示，未來台北各大展館，將與台中的TICEC成為貿協展館「雙核心」，TICEC服務的不只是台中產業聚落，中台灣龐大的商業能量「萬事俱備、只欠東風」，這東風就是TICEC這樣的國際級展館，為產業發揮加成效果。
